    Nunhead Cemetery

Nunhead Cemetery is perhaps the least known but most attractive as well as being the second largest of London's Victorian cemeteries. Originally known as All Saints cemetery. I grew up near Nunhead and as a child used to go and play there. It was one of the most frightening...

    Reading Between The Lines

I have always loved visiting old cemetarys and read all the epitaphs, Sometimes they are humorous on purpose, sometimes they are sad. My mind often wanders off in imagination as to what the person was like when alive, or whether they died alone, had family or was a loner.

Yes, I Pretty Much Like Any...

Yes, I pretty much like anything that has a creep factor to it. I love graveyards, old houses, anything that would make most people cringe. I have always been this way, since I was a young child. I used to spend most of my time feeling like there was something wrong with me, but...

    I Love Spooky Graveyards, I...

I love spooky graveyards, I especially like looking around them and seeing what is there, who's buried there, and looking at the grave markers.  I like the older grave markers that are more elaborate, they are usually shaped in various designs and show what a person was like...

    February 31, 1863

There's an old pioneer cemetery near here with an unusual head stone. Young Rachele McGrady apparently died on February 31, 1863. Was it an engraver's error? Something to do with the occult? No one knows. But people still hike to that grave to see that marker a century and a...

    My Mom

Yesterday was exactly one year after my mom's death. To follow traditions, we help a special religious ceremony at the exact time of her death. - Seems like not so long ago - but its been a year. I miss my mom -

    No Lights At Halloween Night

Sometimes things click. I might have thought about being in a graveyard at night before. Maybe I thought about it for a thousand times. It is one of those things you don't do. You think about them but you would never acutally do it. But then life kicks in. A friend asked us to...

I Wish I Had A Little House In The Middle Of A Huge Graveyeard, And The Ghosts Did My Bidding.

Oh shoot I put my story in the title. UPDATE:  to the story. I want my spooky house in the middle of a cemetary to be on the coast, prefereably right up on the beach.   I know, I know, the bodies might go out with the tide, but the sea is calling me today and I want to go live...

I like to visit spooky places like old castles,

abandoned houses , and old cemeteries . But of course , I like to be with a company . I enjoy the gloomy atmosphere of these places , just like the places that Edgar Allan Poe describes in his poet and stories 👀 am I weird ?

Anyone Ever Been To Batchlors Grove Cemetary???

Bachelor's Grove is located in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL.  It is a very strange place.  It's  hidden in the woods and you have to travel down a very long wooded path to get there.  There are very strange vibes there.  People have also...

I used to try and be brave and I would go walking in them all alone at night. Sometimes I would take a  piece of paper and a pencil and do rubbings of my favorites. But after awhile I grew too spooked from watching too many ghost shows, and I stopped going unless I had a...

We Have Two Really Spooky M...

We have two really spooky mesonic graveyards near us and I think they are great.  I believe in ghosts, so it makes it even creepier to visit.  I just don't like when people mess around with the graves, let the dead rest in peace.

They scare the crap out of me though. Graveyards have something scary. But at the same time that scariness attracts me.

    A Fine and Private Place

They said that the dead cannot hurt you, but as Ray Stevens put it, the dead can sure make you hurt yourself lol   I've been to graveyards that have creeped people out big time.  There's a small one at a park I like to go to.  It's kind of hidden in the back...

I never go to graveyards at night but I love the way there's a bunch of dead people just rotting underground. Whenever in think graveyards, I always think of the the "Thriller" video by Michael Jackson. Always. If I were to go to a graveyard at, it wouldn't be fun at...
