    Barefoot In Hawaii

I think that's half the reason I love the islands... You can walk around anywhere without shoes (or even a shirt!) and nobody cares, you still get service. You end up with tough feet and forget to put shoes on, even when you're visiting the mainland. **** shoes. It isn't natural...

    Barefoot Xmas Shopping

I hope everyone is doing their xmas shopping in barefeet. Down here in New Zealand the weather is gorgeous and my children and I have done all the shopping barefoot and been to the local xmas parade in barefeet. My feet are completely filthy and I love it!

    Since My Teen Years

I always enjoyed being barefoot. Whether at home, outside, the beach or sometimes driving. I don't really know why, but i never like socks unless it was winter and was freezing. Even to this day, my bare feet are just that, bare. If i have to wear anything, just give me some...

For years I suffered a variety of foot problems,

bunions, gout, bad knees, etc. Then about 5 years ago I began reading about the benefits of going barefoot, how shoes are crippling our feet. I resisted for a while. Sure, it would be fun to go barefoot on the grass, but I live in a dry pine forest with fractured basalt and...

    Going Barefoot For My Boyfriend

As I mentioned on a previous story, my boyfriend has a thing for seeing me when I'm in my bare feet. I'm taking the summer quarter off and I'm thinking about "indulging" him since we had such a good time on the little camping trip. I'm planning on spending the first...

    I'm almost always bare foot.

At home I never but on shoes, nor when I'm home in the yard. Flip flops are my 1st choice in foot wear when I'm out and about. In the winter months, thermal sock and slippers will do.

Here's my point; when you wear shoes you are

just walking on the same thing everyday but if you are barefoot you are more aware of your surroundings and you experience it all. Sounds dumb but my other reason is just because I hate shoes.

I have weird toes so most shoes don't fit

but I adore the feeling of fresh grass under my toes and I feel deeply connected to nature without shoes on, like I actually belong on it. I think of people with shoes on as people trying to block out nature and it's beauty because all they do is see it they don't feel it
