    I'll Do All the Cooking

I've been cooking virtually my whole life. I come from a family where most of the men know how to cook. I like it so much that I considered going to chef's school. What always stops me is I worry that if it becomes my job then I won't want to do it in my leisure life. I love...

I really never thought I would be saying this,

being that I had never even touched a stove until me & my boyfriend moved in together. Now that I've been cooking almost every single night, I actually love it!!!

I love to cook. Oh my goodness!

:) I use the microwave, hot water from the sink faucet or the NU Wave Cooker that I call a portable stove since it's shaped like a big stove burner. I don't use a full-scale stove. I especially don't use an oven. I don't use slow cookers because I like to be there when the food...

I've been noticing over the past few weeks how

my body is choosing its diet and my cooking is following suit. This might sound weird, but every since I made the connection with my soul centre, I've found that it has become much more difficult to keep my old diet patterns, and much easier to choose and enjoy foods that my...

Running low on my monthly budget

and had to try something that turned out amazing! Brown rice, chicken breast, diced tomatoes in a can, half an onion, one garlic clove, dried black beans and many seasonings including cumin and chili powder. Delish with a little kick!

My challenge this year (new yr resolution) has

been to prepare ALL of our meals without ANY genetically modified ingredients. So far, so good! Now, of course, Jon has eaten at the pub quite often and we've eaten food prepared by others. So, perhaps we've ingested a small amount of gmo. But the amount has been minimal...

How is it that it take

for ever to go from raw to "nearly done" then a nanosecond to go from "nearly done" to cremated? Plus in that nanosecond, something will always distract you - doorbell, earthquake, overflowing sink etc

Made some honey garlic chicken tonight

and it came out amazing!!! I am so happy my cousin gave me the idea. The sauce only consisted of chopped garlic, hot sauce and honey boiled together for about 3 minutes and then glazed over baked or fried wings. It is something all should try if you like wings! :)
