    So its not snowing here

    but i dont even care hahaha Today i made slow-cooked adobo barbacoa fajitas. just , like , Chipotle's.... 7 hours - and dinner was Easy and made. Professional chef , i will not take credit as nor will i call myself a master of anything haha I will say , i have quite a many years...

    I enjoy it although cooking

    for only one can be a drag sometimes. I like trying new recipes and making old favorites. It is nice when I make enough to have leftovers too. I do a fair share of my cooking in a slow cooker, but make some casseroles and skillet meals as well.

    I do like to cook. I don't use other people's

    Ok, I'm guessing not many of you have ever

    I am making a salad if baby greens,

    baby kale (from the garden) with fresh feta, roasted beets (that I roasted with blood orange olive oil, toasted walnuts, dried cranberries drizzled with a pomegranate- quince balsamic and blood orange vinegarette. I just had to tell someone who would appreciate it

    As a mother's day gift to my mommy,

    I'm making her dinner. *-* I'm making baked macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, collard greens, potato salad, turkey, stuffing, green beans, carrots, orange spice rum cake, caramel brownies, and deviled eggs...I think that's it. ;-;

    I love to Cook But I'm trying to eat healthy

    Today I'm making bread.

    As it is steadily snowing a lot outside,

    I think it is stew weather so I threw into a big stew pot the following: chicken, carrots, turnip, potatoes, leak, pearl onions, chicken stock, vegetable stock, turmeric, black pepper, cumin, garlic, basil, and thyme. And all this is stewing now. I look forward to it.

    I like cooking one pot meals

    I make quite a lot of dinners.

    As my mom works late; I normally make dinner so it will ready for when she gets in. my favourites is chilli con carne, Lamb Rogan Josh, Corned Beef Hash, Sweet And Sour Chicken and so many more meals. :-)

    Spent a good five hours making lasagna with

    I just cleaned my kitchen.

    It looks fantastic. Too bad I'm about to destroy it by cooking all afternoon. Ham and navy bean soup, butter cookies, roasted chicken, and homemade stock are on the agenda. I might toss in some brownies for good measure.

    Dinner tonight was mirin glazed salmon.

    I got this recipe from my newly acquainted aunt, who in turn got it from the Nigella Express recipe book. It is sooo good. I had it with freshly sliced fennel and curly kale. My kids had it with regular greens (of course).

    My first ever Pumpkin pie has just gone in the

    oven.For some reason Pumpkin Pies aren't a huge thing here in Australia. Why? The pastry was an easy one to make or I could have cheated and bought a pre-made pie shell. The filling is so easy t's ridiculous. BTW, I now totally understand why Pumpkin Pie Spice is a must, so nice...

    But hate cleaning so I think I'm going to whip

    Cooking is so calming like the world stands

    still while you combine wonderful things to make an even more wonderful thing. You and others can enjoy your masterpiece not just look but taste,feel and smell. Cooking is an art form and is an art form that I am proud to take part in and be at least kind of good at.
