Ok, I'm guessing not many of you have ever

eaten plantains? They're like a banana, but not. I like to fry them in cayenne pepper and eat them with dulce de leche! This time, I tried cheesy jalapeño dipping sauce from little ceasers pizza.....and omg......

I love those Victorian style houses with those

corners that have those bay windows. I would have my 2 story kitchen with herbs growing and wine shelves and a cot for naps.

Today I made a spinach & mushroom lasagne,

just on an impulse, without a recipe. It all began with a bag of spinach at the veggie section, on my shopping tour yesterday. It was like "pick *me* today!". So I did. I gathered together some brown mushrooms, fresh green and dry red onions, cream for cooking, and organic...

As it is steadily snowing a lot outside,

I think it is stew weather so I threw into a big stew pot the following: chicken, carrots, turnip, potatoes, leak, pearl onions, chicken stock, vegetable stock, turmeric, black pepper, cumin, garlic, basil, and thyme. And all this is stewing now. I look forward to it.

    Hectic day at the office,

but cooking lightens my stress and I eat well no matter what's going on in my life! I fancied Chinese today, for most I my dinners, as Chinese food requires less preparation and it tastes bloody good! Bon appetite!
