    I read lots and try to read

    for at least an hour a day. I especially like reading books about those in the medical professions and books written by people with mental health problems who are in recovery. I like fiction too and have recently started reading some thrillers.

    I hate how the television has taken over

    so many lives. I much prefer to curl up with a good book. I feel reading stirs the imagination much more than tv. I also enjoy the solitude and inner reflection that comes from reading.

    I've been trying to figure out why. I've counted some reasons, flipped them over like coins. Seen the other sides. Still, some questions hide answers, like why should I write? When people implore they're often vague. "Why do you urge?" gets dismissive replies. Rarely answers...

    I'm reading Dracula by beam stoker

    for an extension class, we're doing a genre study (gothic), and I love it. We also read a couple of chapters from Dr Jeckle and Mr Hide and I think I found my favourite book.
