I read up to two 200 page books in a day. Nonstop. No food, no water, no sleep. Just moving your eyeballs all around the page. (I do occasionally look off to the distance and close my eyes when they get tired :P )

A really unusual and intriguing novel is Tom

McCarthy's 'Remainder'. It's about a man who has lost his memory after an accident, but it's so well written that a summary of the plot fails to do it justice (like all good novels). You many need persistence to begin with, but it rewards the effort.
