    Im Rather Fond..

Of the British accent and their appropriate language use. They are very precise. And do you notice how the southern accent is always extremely exaggerated as hillbilly or redneck? Its fun though.

The Sixth Sheik's Sixths Son's Sick

The other day we were doing a "speed through" for a short play (where the actors  run their lines rapidly shortly before going on to help with memory) -when Alexa started going all whispy southern belle on us,so then Q did as well and then Keith got going on proper British and...

    Hello Guvnor!

I love talking in different accents especially when it makes people laugh. My sister thinks I am weird but when I get done watching a movie where someone had an accent I try to repeat it.

and my brothers a few years back to a "camping" resort kind of thingy place. well, every time we left the cabin, i talked in a European accent and made a friend. She never once questioned my accent and i never spoke out of character around her. to this day i believe she thinks i...

    G'day Mate!

I try and try because I think it's just so funny and cute! I am just not blessed with the gift though. That doesn't stop me from trying......even though I sound ridiculous every time I do! I can somehow make a British accent sound more Australian than anything else. Don't even...

    Self Fun

I'm an innovator. No, not of something important that can make lots of money, I wish. I like to come up with things that don't yet exist. One being a new 'fake' accent. My favorite is my mix between Julia Child and Proper English. I usually use it to make me feel better when I'm...

    Not Gonna Lie...

I do this. Not a lot, cuz I don't talk a lot. But I do it with my close friends and roommates. My attempts are horrible, but they make my friends laugh, so I do it more. I wish I could do a real russian accent, as I think that is easily the sexiest accent. I only really know...

I Love To Fake American Accents

I was born in a very British area in Canada, and since my parents were British and just moved to Canada from England. so I was born with an English accent. I still retain the accent, but I fake an American accent just to fit in

    English, Irish, British...

Australian, Scottish, Italian...French.  I never keep 'em straight though.  I always transition from one accent to another within one word.  One word will be British, the next Irish, and I might end the sentence being Scottish or Australian.  It's still fun...

Sometimes I Don't Even Realize It

Sometimes I talk in fake accents, I also tend to sing a lot too. I had an exchange student for a while and found myself very conscious of my fake accents. If I slipped and began using one I felt so bad, I wondered if she thought I was making fun of her. My husband does it too so...

    For Entertainment Purposes Only

I just used to imitate certain accents for when I did prank calls XD Nothing heavy though. The only time I really talk in a fake accent now, is when I mimic a person's voice with an accent if we're joking around with each other and they are picking on me about my voice.

I speak with an Americanised accent

I started speaking English in differents accents when I was in college. I found it was much easier to read in different accents but I usually speak in an Americanised accent. For this, I received much flak from my classmates. :P Speaking with a fake accent is a big no-no here in...

People Seem To Like The English Accent

    I Don't Mean to

I never want to talk in a fake accent around people with actual accents because I'm afraid they'll think I'm making fun of them and also because I'm not very good at them.  However, sometimes I just slip in and out of them. It becomes very awkward at times because once I...
