    I Love Lp's!

I know vinyls aren't used much anymore but I love them, the crackle, the art, they have so much more charactor the CD's and especially MP3 format. My fave is an interview with Jimmy Page. It is a picture record. A different pic of Jimmy on each side. It is a bit hard to listen...

    1987 To Present

Crappy photo taken with my old cell phone. I got my first record player in 1987.  I was four years old, and it was a little plastic portable toy of a record player, but it played 33s and 45s.  Later that year, I got a hand-me-down stereo system when my parents bought a new...

Because i ust can't find any of the good stuff on cd!Where is Fripp and Eno?Where did Zappa go?Nowhere to be seen,so i keep those lp's spinning and treasure them for it's all that's left of some of the best (as i see it) artists who ever lived!

    Take Me Back

Within the past two or three years I started to look on the Internet some old 45 RPM vinyls made by a relative of mine who during his 35 year career had made over 109 singles and six albums. Recording with companies like Decca, Columbia, Mercury , Chess, date and Coral records...

I Love Going to Garage Sales For Old Records

I've had a record player since I was in kindergarten. I used to come home from school and lay on the floor next to the record player and listen to classical. I was with out one for a while until I found one at goodwill. It's great my mom and aunt gave me all of...

    It's Coming Back!

More and more albums are being released on vinyl these days, and I am thrilled. Admittedly I'd be more thrilled if they were a wee bit cheaper, but hey, it's a start, right? I'm also addicted to the equipment. Consoles are my favourite, with the exception on my Sansui...

New to Vinyl and Loving It!

I recently picked up a used Rega turntable, and music has moved from something in the background to something I actively do.  The sound is better than cd, and I'm a sucker for ritual.
