I Listen to My Music Too Loud

I think I'm starting to go deaf.

My mom gets pissed off when I do this b/c usually she's ringing the doorbell and I don't hear it or she'll just appear in front of me and scare me half to death. She always says that if other people can hear what you're listening to...

Growin up, i would have my head phone on, with the CD player turned all the way up!  Got a little older, Upgraded to an MP3 player, then an iPod with some better headphones and have it turned all the way up. People gave me funny...

Probably one of the reasons, along with loud impact guns and air tools and diesel engines, that I have a hard time hearing sometimes.

I am always being told that I do. But I don't think so. The louder is it the better for me.

I listen to my music very loud with head phones on bad days. Its something i do to drown out everything else. It either relaxes me or gives me a really bad headache. But somehow it works.
