    Freddie’s Dead

I cried when Freddie died. Wait a minute. What’s that I hear, “I see a little silhouetto of a man,” coming from my sons’ bedroom? Sorry, I guess I was wrong. Freddie’s not really dead after all. Now, let me go sing along, “Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the...

    Queen Rocks!

I've always like Queen since the age of 9 following their career with much interest as my other musical likes and dislikes evolved. What I like about Queen's music is the variety of differing styles they employ - sometimes in one song - and the poignant lyrics.

These guys were great and I still crank out their music in the car. I always wonder what other great music they would of put out if Freddy Mercury had not died.

When I was growing up The Mighty Ducks films were some of my favorites and in one of them We are the Champions plays. A friend and I ust to sing it all the time and on the school bus everyone would come up with their own version of it. At one time Bohemian Rhapsody was used in a...

    Have For Years

Especially 'Princes of the Universe'. I liked a lot of their songs but this one was, for me, the best. A great song, then played for the movie/TV series as its theme song. Just grabs the mind and presents the listener with a cascade of 'mind pictures'.

I just love their sound. I had my own 3 days of mournoing when Freddie passed away. Their music was so special and uplifting. Especially Bohemien Rhapsody. The scene from Wayne's World will live on forever.
