Every city I have lived in, I can always hear a train softly in the distance. I suppose it's almost a lullaby to me by now. I never realized what a comfort it is to hear them until traveling to a place where I could not.
Trains seem to be able to put me to sleep. I grew up listening to them. So, I am so used to them. I love to hear them at night. I don't know how people can't stand the sound of a train. I just love that sound so much.
