    My Messy House

Yes, mine is a wreck most of the time. I have a lot of health issues, as well as major depression, and am just physically unable to do all the housecleaning and yard work that I have to do every day. I wish I made enough money to hire people to do it, but I don't.

    Lazy Girlfriend

Let me start off by saying that I am far from immaculate. One look at my office--and the piles of papers that need to be filed, along with the boxes that I never unpacked after moving two years ago--will tell you that. I am, however, generally clean. In other words, while I...

    Explination Corner

There is good and bad news. The good news is there is help out there. The bad news is this is compulsive hoarding which is a mental disorder marked by an obsessive need to acquire and keep things, even if the items are worthless, hazardous, or unsanitary. More than 3 million...

    My Messy House

A Big, Drafty, Cold, Exciting, Messy Flat Full Of Musicians! (and Me)

I was the tidy one when I lived at home with Mum. But that was just compared to her and my sister, and didn't make me a tidy person, it just meant that they were quite bad so it made my room look much more ordered. Now I'm the not the messiest one here, but it sort of goes...

Not Too Messy, But Not Too Clean.

My family's house isn't a total mess, wouldn't be considered a hoarders home, but it is on the messy side. If I was in control of the way my house looked, it'd be very neat and tidy, the opposite of now. My room is very organized and clean. I'm a big cleaner due to my fear of...

I've been almost a year doing reno's to my small apartment. A year ago I had no idea how to do anything I'm getting to the point that there I can't move around.. I essentially gutted the kitchen, took out the floors but slowly moved in a bed, a couple of chairs a work space for...

    Emotional Laziness Leads To This

OK, well, I felt like I had to vent about my wife's slovenly habits, but most of the stories I saw were related to "I hate my wife". Well, I don't. Some of this mess is of my own making (usually "honey-do" projects that take too long) and from time to time we go in fits and...

and any author knows that its messy business. An author can find inspiration in anything. Say they go out for coffee and see someone with blue hair and they think "okay thats cool, I'll make a note of it." So they write on a napkin "blue hair." I do things like that all the time...
