I Live In a Sexless Marriage Forum & Chat Board | Research

A couple of years back, I wrote a story "First Post ? What happens Next" dealing with how initial posters seem to go over a 12 month period.

It got a reasonable amount of responses, and revealed some interesting stuff.

Here below, are the last 10 initial posters, as of today.

If past research is anything to go on, we will never hear from 8 of these 10 again. 2 will hang on for about 4 months, then 1 will drop off and never be heard from again. The 1 remaining will resolve their dysfunctional marriage (by leaving it) in round about 8 months.

I have captured these 10 "newbies" identities at this time so there is an identifiable starting point, and a written record - here in the forum - of who they are.

If possible, I will have a look at the thread every month.

(And, truth be told, I am super curious about which one is likely to be 'the one' who goes the distance - if in fact anyone in this group of ten newbies does. I know which one of them I'd have my money on right now)

I definitely think someone should do detective work and maybe some sort of statistical analysis of the people who join this group. I have been meaning to ask those who left and participated to answer the questions I posted in the forum a couple of weeks ago. FilteringMachine, VaguestBaby, and others who have moved on to a "normal" relationship----please contribute. 

 

Which one of them are refusers? 

Which one of them delete their profiles and re-register with revised stories?

I think that posters with prime numbers in their name are decidedly suss as likely refusers, and re-registers inevitably have too many vowels in their name. People who award themselves honorifics such as "Professor" etc tend to be questionable too.
