I hope all goes well.  Visiting a lawyer was a big scary step, and I was terrified.  However, it was not so bad, and she gave me great information and I felt on a more solid footing to move forward with divorce.  I think it was such a big deal for me because it was a step in acknowledging that the marriage was truly finished and in acknowledging that fact.  

 

I imagine it being much like the "first day of school" feeling.... Horrible, anxious anticipation followed by calm.

Ha! I was getting all anxious b/c they haven't responded yet.... Today's a holiday, duh.  Sigh, I need to cut back on the caffeine big time.  More chamomile!! ;)

Well, first lawyer never got back with me (boooo, messing with my momentum!).  However, my sister is wonderful and got me a contact (a paralegal) who I spoke with today, emailed my info to them just now, and hope to be passed along to a lawyer shortly!  Here at home DOCUMENT is the word of the day... And oh, what documenting I have done.
