I was on my way to work a few days ago

and along the way I saw 3 deer, a raccoon, a coyote, and a bobcat. I love living in the country.

Some Would Say I Live In The Town, But It Feels Like I Live In The Country

I grew up surrounded by fields.  I was born in Wales, so that is standard.   Then for some reason everyhouse I've lived in the uk has been surrounded by fields.

Finland Is A Cold Place To Be Right Now

I live in southern Finland, pretty near Helsinki. My neighbours own a ranch and when I look outside I see fields... Well, they're all covered in snow at the moment. It's like -15 degrees C outside! I think I'll go make some tea, suddenly feeling cold...

Live 15 miles outside of a small town.

Got pink deer antlers on my wall and camo on my bed. Some things you just got to be thankful for.

    I'm Surrounded...

By all these trees and I love it. I live a mile off of the main road, down a little dirt road. I like the quiet seclusion of living back in the woods. I work in the city and I love being able to get away from it and come home to trees, fields and quiet.

    I'm Not a Hick

But there are plenty around here. Most of them are good people, just unsophisticated. Very little crime. They'd do anything for you. There are also sufficient non-hicks who simply prefer to live away from the pollution, noise, crime and chaos of cities. Many commute as there's...

I hang my clothes up on the clothes line in the

summer to save on the electric bill. Lol you'd be surprised how big of a difference it makes. Everyone walks around their yard barefoot. My neighbors ride around and give out vegetables they've grown. I recently got some eggs from a neighbor with chickens. Not to mention all...

I'm Happy to Be a Country Girl

I live on 25 acres on what used to be farmland. My property has woods and brooks with little waterfalls, and a large pond. Deer drink from my pond which is right off the back of my house. They eat apples in the 100 year old orchard in back, and unfortunately for me, shrubs in my...

the best part is you always have some where to go to be alone.  you have company just not human,  and the trees make better listeners anyway.

    it's beautiful out here!

But once in a while I wish there was more to do. Animals are great, all the wide open space is amazing! But... It would be nice if stores were loser and I didn't have to ride a bus for one and a half hours. Oh well.

She was a mother buckin' mare … One helluva

ride but she would pitch you in the dirt as quick as she pleased if you treated her wrong. Nothing like a spirited one to keep you on your toes boys

I Am Currently Living In the Country

Right now I am living very much in the country but yet only 9 miles from a very small town. As we drive up to our home on this very curvy and hilly road we can see deer, chickens, goats, cows, horses, turtles, llama, cats, dogs, pigs, and probably lots more. Just getting...
