Anyone Grow Their Own Food To Save Money?

I started trying to grow some of my own food, not much. I have a few tomato and pepper plants, and am going to plant some winter squash, but it helps a lot not to have to buy those few things.  I have fruit trees I planted years ago that are now bearing pretty well, so I...

    The Grim Reaper of Food

a couple of weeks ago i decided to make a whole bunch of my own food and put it in tupperware containers. I only spent $60 on food that would last me 2 weeks. But actually it only lasted 4 days until it went bad and could'nt stand eating it. I got really frustrated and i don't...

How To Save For A Cruise With Minimum Pain!!!

The recession has recently hit me!! The UK has a new and particularly cruel  government who have come into power and immediately started hacking away at people. Sadly the ones who are suffering the most are those with children or on low incomes or benefits. Over the last...

    Sometimes It's Exhausting

living on a strict, tight budget is good.  But it's also tiring.  One thing I'm really tired of is not having money in my budget to buy new clothes with.  I haven't bought myself new clothes in a couple of years because I'm so broke.  Most days I'm pretty okay...

Money Poor, But Otherwise Very Rich

I love the challenge of being less than financially secure. I love finding bargains, living frugally, making every penny count. Sure, I would love to splurge sometimes, and once in a great while I do, but mostly, I can live just as well on nothing as most people can on 100 times...

I won't go into all of the details

but in 2006 my wife became disabled and our household income dropped by around $30K. She has since received long term disability pay from her employer and from the government but at a LOT less than her previous income. We had to file bankruptcy or lose our home, car(s), and...

    My mortgage weighs me down.

I'm so scared of this giant debt. I live so cheaply in order to make extra payments, but it's never enough! I don't want to live like this for the next decade.

    Financial Management Boot Camp

I was always on welfare (for 3 different disabilities) and my husband has always been a blue-collar worker, but made pretty good money since he was living at him and such.  While I knew a little about budgeting, Hubby always had money given to him and he never had to worry about...

What would i have done without software? I use Boachsoft Finance 2012. It makes life so much easier. Creating budgets is so easy. Spending limit notifications keep me on track. I think you should try it.
