    It Makes Everything Easier

Living one day at a time is so much easier than trying to plan out everything at once. I say just go with the flow of things and see where the wind takes you. Lifes a journy, its ment to be fun and unpradictable so just see what happens and who knows, maybe everything will go to...

    Moment By Moment

Sometimes it's not even a day at a time...sometimes it's a matter of getting from one minute to the next.  I know from experience that the rough bits always pass in time...if I'm stubborn enough to wait 'em out.So I dig in my heels, take a few deep breaths, and wait. And the...

    I Have To

It was a big part of my recovery process from drugs all those years ago. If I tried to live beyond the moment I was in, I fell apart.

Don't worry about what people think.

They don't do it very often.

    I've Changed.

I've always spent time looking into the future. Never living in the here and the now. I worry so much about what's going to happen to the point I never concentrated at what IS happening. So I've made a promise to myself. Live ONE day at a time, and stop worrying about what WILL...

    Forget Tomorrow

We should all be living one day at a time. It is hard enough to get through today without thinking about what problems will befall us tomorrow. The devil places many obsticles before us and we must turn to the Lord to help us overcome them with his word and his grace. The...

    "Dying" Taught Me This.

i used to feel guilty about the past, and worried about the future.  i never really appreciated life on a day to day.  i was always planning ahead, rarely satisfied with the day.  there just never seemed to be enough time. then one night, i got...

I like to use everyday's worth

so I can have a well worded and lengthy book about my life. I find it better than stressing over future goals and missing out what each day has to offer.

I guess today has proven to me

that the most piercing of words are perhaps the most honest and true. Heard something I didn't want to hear... Lost all touch with reality; void of consciousness and awareness... I'm falling and falling. Did you have to tell me that?

    From Today!

It is my goal to take each day as it comes. I am bored with the intensive planning I keep doing every now and then. My life is like, I exactly know where I am going to end up after a few years. I can see it reel in front of my eyes. I know what I will be doing in future. But I am...

    Yup!

In a long term marriage you have routine. You know what you'll be doing today, tomorrow, next year. I didn't plan to find myself single at this point in my life-- I don't know what my future holds, but I am trying to embrace that unknowing.

    It's All I Can Do!

For this year, I've been living life, one day at a time. One step at a time. One hour at a time. I lose myself, when I'm trying to move too far and too fast. Which has been my mistake for many many years. Now, I'm just dealing with one thing at a time. It makes life more...

    I Used to Plan

I am a planner, and I always set myself long term goals to achieve and check off over time but since having Depression, I learned that when life gets tough, it is best to live one day at a time.
