    Miss Her Sooo Much

    I miss it soooo much. Alot of great memeories there... i miss macadamia nuts i used to get for free...the pineapple fields. the coco nuts tree that grew in our backyard.. the beach...being able to wear shorts every single day of the year...the geckos...i miss the small chinatown...

    Norweigan Cruise Line

    Lived On the Big Island

    from 86-88, in Waikoloa.  Loved it, especially the nude beach, lol.

    Aloha! Big Island Girl Here!

    Lived in the Puna District for almost four years. Was like a spiritual death experience. Made good friends, closer than family, and got to eat all the mangoes I wanted. Got to have a baby in a birthing hut my friends made for me- surrounded my hapu'u ferns and anthuriums...

    Late 60's

    My father was on a sub and was stationed in Hawaii.  I went to Barber's Point Elementry school in the late 1960's.  I remember my parents buying their first house there for a wopping $28,000.  I can't imagine what that same house goes for today.
