    My True Home

           In 1946 houses near the Big Arkansas River were relative cheep because the River was untamed and flooded nearly ever spring.    I loved it. It would take Millions of dollars now to recreate the natural woods and water that were my home...

    The Monongahela River

    For folks, who will undoubtedly pronounce it wrong... (Mon-On-Ga-Hell-A) is the true and correct pronounciation. I lived right up from it when I was a kid. Now, I live not far from the Three Rivers... The Mon, the Ohio, and the Allegheny.
