I really love music from the 80s.

I thoroughly enjoy listening and slow dancing to music by Billy Joel, Elton John, and other performers from that decade.

1983. In the corner of the Goth disco

(delighted to have passed for 18 this week) sits an acned black clad youth, swathed in his heavy raincoat. Atop his head sits a coiffure he believes makes him look like a Bunnyman. In fact it looks like a feather duster placed on a pepperoni pizza. He is ostentatiously reading...

The Style Council sort of defined the eclectic, creative spirit of the Eighties.Defiantly political, they could mix up Bossa Nova,Gospel, and in this instance a torch song, all in the same album.Enjoy

    As I work this morning,

I am streaming some 80's music on YouTube. Brings back memories. As I listen, something else strikes me... Many of these songs could have been written by stalkers. Lol. What was up with that in the 80's? Seems more than any other time, there was just a lot of songs that...

    Everyone knows the big hits,

the trends-- but I love those songs that maybe only you and one other friend really liked. Perhaps it was a song, you just heard once on the radio and that was it; you had to search for it. The music was so eclectic in the '80s. I'm older now, but I listen to music now that I...
