My friend talked trash about one of my guitars:

"Yuck, that's SO 80s..." I shrugged and plucked the guitar from his ungrateful hands. The 80s was a thing, man; A beautiful, messed-up thing. And there's nothing like the music that came from the 80s. The stars, the costumes, the glam, the production debate whether to...

I miss roller skating to my favorite 80s music

every Friday night during my childhood. Its so sad to me that roller skating died out :( In any case, I created an awesome spotify playlist with all the songs that whisk me back to that wonderful time. Wouldn't trade those memories for anything in the world!

    Oh yeah...gotta love the '80s.

I missed 'em. Damn. But at least the music is still around. And honestly? The best music happened in the '80s. We had hard rock, metal ... all the best stuff, really. Of course, we also had Rick Astley. But apart from him, we had Queen, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, and plenty more...

I love listening to the soundtracks of 1980s

films. I think they are better now than they were in the 1980s: it was before digital film, so time has degraded the film/audio quality. It gives the music a displaced and (in drama and horror especially) a slightly sinister feel, over and above the music itself.

I somehow managed to make it through the 80s

without seeing Labyrinth. With all of the Bowie tributes happening lately I finally forced myself to watch it for the first time last night... and I cannot believe I have missed out on this all these years! How is Bowie so creepy yet irresistible...so glittery yet so...desirable...
