Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 359 People

    A Modern Classic.

I have to give my ex credit for introducing me to A Clockwork Orange. It's one of my favorite books and movies. I even have an Alex costume planned for Halloween. Sex, violence, comedy, thriller. What is there not to adore about it?

    Right Right?

Such a strange and disturbing movie.  Whether you're sober or high, it's just...strange and disturbing, and I love it.  Oddly, my favorite part of the movie is the rape scene at the writers house.  What a strange and disturbing house!  LOL.  I love that...

I think he may be one of my favorite fictional characters.  He's such a terrible person, but very fascinating.  He is disgusted at the sight of people eating, but has no problem with his victims' blood as long as it doesn't mess his clothes.  So concerned with...

I Loved It Not For the Plot...

I loved it not for the plot line or acting but for its unconventionality and originality.  However, it does not represent a movie that I would watch more than once.

One of My Rare "PopCulture" (tm) References...

Viddy this..  beyond the surface the idea of an intermingling of culture and values and morality and government and people and places and - well things.  A treatise on us all.  Forever enshrined by this person in the form of another.

    I L0ve This Movie

It is my goal to one day read the book. I actually helped a friend do an comparisson of the film to the book because she had to read it for a lit class. Stanley Kubrick makes excellent films and the moral to this story is one I strongly believe in. Thus, the only poster I own...

    I Can Relate

This happens to be one of my favorite films. I about blew when I saw this was a group. The thing that is so amazing about it especially was the acting for Alex. Malcolm Mcdowell is a genious at creating these "evil" villians(especially in the likes of Caligula and other films he...

    A Favorite

I remember reading about this movie many times before I ever saw it.  I remember my excitement when I bought it and could hardly get home fast enough to watch it.  Malcolm McDowell plays a great sadist which is why I also love "Caligula".  I had been meaning to read the book...

I Love Both the Book and the Movie

This is a wonderful piece of weird literature, my favorite genre. The movie is very true to the American version of the book. One thing that is easier to understand in the book is the reason why the main character was selected for the experiment. The British (original) version of...
