I Love Abandoned Places

To Wander And Explore Lonely Forgotten Places 6,539 People

I love the stories the cracks leave.

I love the creaking wood and pipes from worn down steps and draining. I love how you can imagine how beautiful the place was. Thriving with life and still does. The home that maybe once was ours to use. Has become home of the grass in the cracks and vines wrapping every stair...

Wish I Had More Time To.........

Walk among the fallen timbers of past lives, to feel the rusted remains of history and to sift through forgotten memories. There is something about roaming around abandoned places that just that excites me. I guess it is the kid in me that thinks "what if". What if I look...

    Abandoned places are beautiful.

There is this old factory I love visiting. I found about because my friend did a photoshoot there and I assisted her. Now whenever I can I visit that place and explore.

    Buildings Of The Forgotten.

I love old abandon buildings, the way they stand oddly alone. They are often right among the busy ever day life getting passed by with nobody giving a second thought as to why or how this happened. You can get into some buildings and escape the reality of life. Drift back to the...

    Abondoned House W.Australia

I found this house a while back, in the western Australian rural areas maybe 6hours from 'civilisation' as they say, it was as if the person died and the place was forgotten and left as a time capsule. I came across a house left as is, in tact, furniture and all. It looked like...

Abandoned Buildings Freak Me Out And Thrill Me At The Same Time

I've always had a fondness for old things, especially because of the rich histories that come with old objects and also the eeriness. I haven't visited a ghost town but the idea of doing so sounds like something I'd enjoy. I used to explore abandoned buildings and homes when I...

of the U.S. Border. Actually I've already been to 14. Many more will spring up so the amount is anything but finite. Some cool things I should mention is the thrill of the journey, trying to make way into these abandoned homes, stores, towns and properties. The best way to...

I feel that abandoned places allow someone to

go back in time. Maybe see how ppl lived 30 or so years ago. My favorite abandoned places are then ones that it seems people just never came home one day. I love finding old things that people use to use in their daily life.
