Having still 2 kids under 18 (although one

barely) and living in an area with derelict mills, ruins in every woodland and a constantly changing town it's a gold mine of place to Urbex. If this upload works then this is one of a creek full of rotting boats nearby :)

I love everything about abandoned places.

The history. The people that once there. The spookiness. The architecture. The markings. Actually one of my fav near by places purchased and the new owner doesn't like trespassers. I don't blame her/him not all of them are respectful towards the property but they put up fences...

I love to see random abandoned places,

such as gasoline stations, parking spaces, and car dealerships. I like to see the vegetation grow back into the concrete and see traces of erosion.

My favorite place to hang out is in this one

empty car garage that's down the street from my dorm. It's so peaceful when you go to the top and look out at the view, that is if you're stealthy enough to sneak past the guard ^.^

I live in a fairly old town,

and being that I'm new there, I don't know many of the stories behind the abandoned buildings. I must admit that they fascinate me. I think, "If these walls could talk, what stories would they tell?

Attached is another picture of the abandoned

building I posted about a couple weeks ago. After asking around and getting other opinions, I think it may have been a school in the late 1800's. I am sad that the land it's on is for sale. There was something else that was next to it that seemed to be connected to it somehow...

*-* Idk why, I find them so fascinating. Especially hospitals, theme parks, restaurants. I live about a half a mile away from this old school, half of it burned down, but the rest is still there, it's been abandoned for about 50 years now, I think. A lot of people say it...

I grew up with this sight.

Driving through the country in the backseat of the car, windows down, watching the world roll by. I liked the old places best. They made me sad, but I liked them best. Like an old black and white photograph they sat surrounded by color that couldn't touch them. How do you look...

go with to this old school I live by, it's really big, and it's been abandoned for a long time, my mom said it was even empty when she was a baby. People say it's haunted. I love old buildings, going through old hospitals and asylums are like, the coolest things.
