I used to live in A small town

that had better days. Two or three of us used to dare each other to go to the abandoned street car line where hoboes hung out and drank . My parents said they were to be left alone since they were after money but we used to go and yell at them . Girls were told to keep away...

Spent part of Sunday morning touring old Family

cemeteries that have been abandoned. These were three family cemeteries side by side - one with a brick wall, one in old laid stone, and the other in rod iron. All beautiful in their own respected way, neglected and in much needed care. So much history as the date back from 1700...

There is this abandoned house in the woods I

live near. My friend and I go there a lot and b*tch about life. It's quite fun. Other times we listen to music as loud as we want. No one ever passes near there. It's great.

I rarely feel more at peace

than when I'm sitting in a place ******** of its purpose and neglected to the point of collapse. I always find something beautiful about it.

When I was younger, there has been a park my

"family" and I used to go to on the weekends, and there used to be an abandoned, unfinished building right at the end. The place was really greeny, and if you got into the building you'd see it overlooks of the sea. Anyway, we have stopped because the park got closed. So. There...

    Abandon places are fun.

You can play inside them. Run around but also be careful the stairs might break. When I look at abandon houses I think of what it used to be back in 1980.

    Abondoned House W.Australia

I found this house a while back, in the western Australian rural areas maybe 6hours from 'civilisation' as they say, it was as if the person died and the place was forgotten and left as a time capsule. I came across a house left as is, in tact, furniture and all. It looked like...

wonder what an old abandoned home was like when it was thriving... the different weaving of lives within its rooms. If the old walls could talk, I wonder what stories they would tell?:)

building I posted about a couple weeks ago. After asking around and getting other opinions, I think it may have been a school in the late 1800's. I am sad that the land it's on is for sale. There was something else that was next to it that seemed to be connected to it somehow...

Driving through the country in the backseat of the car, windows down, watching the world roll by. I liked the old places best. They made me sad, but I liked them best. Like an old black and white photograph they sat surrounded by color that couldn't touch them. How do you look...
