When I was younger, there has been a park my

"family" and I used to go to on the weekends, and there used to be an abandoned, unfinished building right at the end. The place was really greeny, and if you got into the building you'd see it overlooks of the sea. Anyway, we have stopped because the park got closed. So. There...

I used to live in A small town

that had better days. Two or three of us used to dare each other to go to the abandoned street car line where hoboes hung out and drank . My parents said they were to be left alone since they were after money but we used to go and yell at them . Girls were told to keep away...

    Abandoned places are beautiful.

There is this old factory I love visiting. I found about because my friend did a photoshoot there and I assisted her. Now whenever I can I visit that place and explore.

I find abandoned places intriguing:) I like to

wonder what an old abandoned home was like when it was thriving... the different weaving of lives within its rooms. If the old walls could talk, I wonder what stories they would tell?:)

A good place to explore may put you into the

middle of a great adventure. What is the point of a cave if it is not meant to be inhabited? o_O

I live in a fairly old town,

and being that I'm new there, I don't know many of the stories behind the abandoned buildings. I must admit that they fascinate me. I think, "If these walls could talk, what stories would they tell?

There is this abandoned house in the woods I

live near. My friend and I go there a lot and b*tch about life. It's quite fun. Other times we listen to music as loud as we want. No one ever passes near there. It's great.

I went to explore the sight of an old grist

mill today. It is directly across the street from me in a steep ravine. There wasn't enough air down there for me and it was very hot too. I was looking for the mill foundation. I will go back when it is cooler. This is usually a full roaring brook but we have had a drought this...

I lived in a large area but most of my town was Abandoned and has been for several years, I still don't know why. I the Abandoned area was walled off but there was small holes in hidden places for kids to go inside. Every weekend I would take a 20 minutes walk down to the walled...

Once I went to an abandoned psychiatric

hospital, called El Peral in Chile. My friend, his girlfriend and I, were walking by the hall when we saw a lot of dried blood, like if something dead had been pulled from the centre of the hall to one of the rooms, the smell was horrible. We covered our nose with the Tshirts...

Spent part of Sunday morning touring old Family

cemeteries that have been abandoned. These were three family cemeteries side by side - one with a brick wall, one in old laid stone, and the other in rod iron. All beautiful in their own respected way, neglected and in much needed care. So much history as the date back from 1700...

Attached is another picture of the abandoned

building I posted about a couple weeks ago. After asking around and getting other opinions, I think it may have been a school in the late 1800's. I am sad that the land it's on is for sale. There was something else that was next to it that seemed to be connected to it somehow...

I recently made a list of abandoned place close

to the subway station here and made my way round them one day, took a few photos of each. Was something different to do and something fun. Pictured is former paintworks, now empty and roofless. Scheduled for demolition in 2013 but still here.

I'm seriously obsessed with abandoned buildings

*-* Idk why, I find them so fascinating. Especially hospitals, theme parks, restaurants. I live about a half a mile away from this old school, half of it burned down, but the rest is still there, it's been abandoned for about 50 years now, I think. A lot of people say it...

    Abondoned House W.Australia

I found this house a while back, in the western Australian rural areas maybe 6hours from 'civilisation' as they say, it was as if the person died and the place was forgotten and left as a time capsule. I came across a house left as is, in tact, furniture and all. It looked like...
