    It's One of My Favorites

I've only taken one year of math class where we have dealt with algebra but I love it. And I hate people who can't solve the easiest questions in algebra.

It's Just One of Those Things

i love algebra.  have spent hours playing with numbers and yes, there are wonderful calculators out there now but there's nothing like having the numbers so intricately in one's mind that they appear effortlessly in the right place.  back in grad school i took a...

    Easy, When You Know How!

I may not be any good at it anymore, but loved solving algebraic equations. They always seemed so logical and easy to work out, when you knew! You just need to think really hard and a good pencil to chew on!!

    Learning To

I can't say with conviction I love algebra. But I am learning to. Recently I re-visited linear algebra through the Dummies series. I enjoyed reading that book. I have also acquired the Algebra I volume in that series. I haven't done any algebra of any serious sort since a couple...

Abelian Groups And Boolean Algebra Are Closely Related And Should Be Taught In High School.

High school geometry should not be taught axiomatically, simply because modern axiom systems for Euclidian geometry are quite difficult to work with. The same goes for the algebra of the real field. Both subjects should be taught "intuitively" except to the small minority of...

    Algebra Teacher...So I Must!

I am a algebra teacher in Indiana, so I must love it! I teach it to 10th and 11th graders at a high school near my home. Before I moved to the US I taught math at a secondary school in London. So overall math has been my entire life! (aside from my kids of course!)
