    Psychedelic Imagination

The first time I read Alice In Wonderland it blew my mind. I hadn't realized till then how truly creative a person can be. I love the cartoon movie and the newest live action movie as well. It is pure imagination. There is also a great amount of beauty and symbolism in it. Alice...

I've always loved Alice in wonderland.

Her reality is challenged at every twist and turn until she overcomes it. Nothing is what it seems in wonderland, just like in real life. It's such a wonderful portrayal of the confusion of the real world. She excepts the madness and chaos around her, and eventually finds her...

So I finished the book again  The words come alive as written Each page brings its known confusion But the unique humour is always a mention. Why I read it over and over Akin to twirling around as a dancer I paused for a plié and do a pirouette A smile comes in and out goes...

    Oh Dear,

Alice stumbled down the wrong rabbit hole. This is no wonderland but a dark and terrible underland, below all that is joyous and light. The Hatter abuses the March Hare, does experiments on him, poor rabbit. The Hatter's madness is twisted, he craves power, he enjoys seeing the...

    You are the Mad Hatter

and I'm naughty little Alice. We trip out on shrooms while you explore my wonderland. The March Hare looks on and keeps track of how long it takes you to bring me to ecstasy. The Queen of Hearts comes in to off or heads but joins in instead.

1988 Czech film "Neko z Alenku" by Jan

Svankmajer is in my opinion the only good translation to a movie of the wonderful Lewis Carroll's universe. Disturbing, creepy, even nightmarish at times, mixing a real character and animation, and really, really powerful and imaginative.
