    Thank You Pbs

I first found out about the wonderful world of Green Gables & Prince Edwards from a PBS sponsor drive. The movie came on & I was instantly hooked. Then I checked out all the the books & read them. I have an Anne movie night at least four times a year.I love these stories...

    Anne With An "e"

I actually remember the first time I picked up a copy of Anne of Green Gables.  It was in the high school library... in one class (in English class I suppose, I can't remember) we were given some free time to just pick out a book and read for the duration of the lesson...

    A Kindred Spirit

I found a "kindred spirit" in L.M. Montgomery's Anne Shirley. When I was about eight years old, I read the book series, and shortly after- what luck!- the Canadian mini-series starring Megan Follows aired on PBS that same year. I was instantly hooked, and prayed every...

I read through the entire series one summer,

and simply couldn't put it down. Not sure if it's the character, the setting or the plot that captures me in every book, but whatever it is, I'm hooked as soon as I begin on the first page. My favourite series of all time :)

    For Agnostics of Love

A girlfriend convinced me to watch the movie series a long time ago.  She and her sweet sisters and mother should be impressed with a man who watches this, right?    I did watch it, and I did like it.  If fact, the girl fell asleep, but I kept watching...

    True Classics

I read all the Anne books from the library several times when I was about 10 years old. Couple years ago I bought all of them to my home library and re-read them... They really are classics, they never get old and even though they are categorized as children's or youth books, I...

the world of grren gables and avonlea is like an antidote to the world we live in. I am constantly amazed by the inspiration I get from returning to avonlea in my heart and mind. it´s a place where I can breathe and feel joy through my body.

L.M. Montgomery made me fall in love with

Prince Edward Island so much that a few years ago I actually drove up to Cavendish, PEI just to see it. I wasn't disappointed.

    My Own Bosom Friend

I fell in love with Anne and her world when it aired on those PBS marathons. Every time they came on, I watched it. After that, I had a journey in my schools library to find the books. The secretary there knew I loved the series, so I was allowed to keep one of the books (Anne of...
