    I'm not sure what happened to the show but it seems like it was much better when it first came out. Nowadays it just does not have the punch it once did.

    Just Interesting

    I love antiques and feel that the past tells a story. I grew up in thrift stores and love that old musty smell. I have a few of my grandmothers things, old jewelry, mismatched china, etc and love it more than life. The show is cool and you get to see stuff that you don't...

    It's Pretty Cool ....

    I saw a woman who found a really ugly spoon... It looked like a silver flat paddle, hidden in the rafters. It was from the serb times, medieval. She got $15,000 USD for it. WOW.   Still haven't found anything like it in my house.... :)

    My Secret Ambition

    I really, REALLY want to be on Antiques Roadshow when I grow up.  Now, I dont know how it all works and what chance the Roadshow people get to figure out or do any research on the pieces - but I am always blown away at their ability to recall some pretty random information...

    they are not worth a fortune,but they do have value.and who knows,one of them may be worth a lot.i like to see the suprise when they find out it is wort a lot.i would fall out if i found out something i had was worth a lot.
