    Footy Fan In New England

I'll still never forget watching the games on ESPN in the mid 80s.. I just thought it was the greatest game on earth. Especially the finals, which they showed live until about 4am. It'd be great if they put that on again. Then again, I just miss the old ESPN,and the cool stuff...

    Grand Final Day 1970,

Grand Final Day 1970, my parents had been managing the pub on the corner of their street, (their house was 7 doors away). Collingwood and Carlton were playing off in the Grand final. My hubby Allan and my bilaw Alan, were moving some furniture from the pub to the house. At half...

There Is Nothing Like Going To A Game

When I was a teenager there was nothing like going to a game with my grandfather and yelling at my team to win. I love the atmosphere that AFL has on game day and getting my footy record and seeing what has happened during the week and looking at who is on and getting the raw...

    Sweet Victory For Geelong

A Geelong supporter, on the train trip home after yesterday's resounding 67 point victory over Essendon, was so caught up with all the other Geelong supporters singing the club song, that he didn't realise he had caught the train to Warrnambool. He lives in Geelong!

    My Afl Story

I went to my first AFL game when i was 8. I remember my mother and aunty, usually quiet well mannered women screaming wildly. Although i didn't know what was really going on with the game, the rush of it was enough to get me hooked. Born and bred in South Australia (and before...

    Geelong!

At this point in time, Geelong are sitting at the top of the ladder undefeated so far this season. Just thought I'd mention it.
