I'd love to lay on the forest floor

and stare up at the stars, confused over which I admire more... You, or nature.

    Rain and Redwoods...looking For More...

I love all kinds of forests, but especially tropical rainforests.  I've been lucky enough to have gone deep into some virgin rainforests in Central and South America and I get a natural sense of well being when I'm there.  I love the smell, the sounds...even the humid...

    Contact With Nature Is Soot...

Contact with nature is soothing. It's like being in the womb all over again. Our mother is all around us.

    The Forest

It is my Valium.  It soothes me, calms me, and I miss it like a lost lover.  I hope to go tomorrow.  I need fresh air and breezes, possible swimming and meditation.  It's been too long, and I really need to be immersed in nature right now.

For Me Forests Seem Almost Magical

I feel a true connection with God in a forest and a true bliss just being in such peaceful and beautiful surroundings. This weekend I will be driving through the forests in Eastern North Carolina/Northeastern South Carolina on my way to meet my oldest son & his family. ...

    Very Much So. ...

Very much so. I love the sounds. I have never been a city girl. I cannot stand all the hustle and bustle. It worries me that many forest's are disappering under the word,"Progress'. We need the trees to breathe, so plant one today...please.!!

💫I feel like it's an escape from reality,

whenever I've been hurt I love to run through the forest because I know I can be free there. No one can judge me or put me down. My favorite thing to do is find a random spot just to sit and listen to all the other creatures in the forest, I think it's just beautiful. It just...

I live about 5 miles away from the big northern

Canadian forest. 10 days or so ago me, my 6 year old son, and 3 buddies took our quads up there and found an old abandoned trail at the edge of my grandpa's land. The trail goes into the forest. We took the trail for about 6 miles and found a lake nobody ever goes to and had a...

    Like Nowhere Else

The soundscape of the forest has an effect on me like nothing else. There isn't stillness nor is there silence as such, but there is a huge absence of all the noise that surrounds life amongst others. The force of that absence of noise is so overwhelming, so healing, my ears feel...

    Psyche And Spirit

I have such a longing for forests and mountains. It is where my heart feels peaceful. I find that I do everything with more passion when I get into the forest. I especially love pine forests; the smell really takes me away.

There are multiple reasons I love the forest,

and most of them are feelings that I cannot put into words. All in all, I love the forest. :)

i go into the forest quite often near

where I live. As soon as you enter, the world changes. In summer it is very quiet and lush in there at first, until the creatures get used to you or forget you are there. In winter it is very stark, all those naked branches in the cold. Both experiences make me seem very small...

I absolutely love being in the forest.

I love the green colours in the spring time and the wildlife everywhere. It's Truly beautiful. The forest is so big and free, you can go anywhere! Sometimes I feel as if the forest is more of my home then my actual house.

    Snowed all day on Monday

I want to live in the deep forest away from the

city. Where I can live peacefully, live off the land, hunt for my food, have a nice house that looks like a home from Skyrim with a forge for my blacksmithing projects. I would be content, happy, and at peace.
