I Love Being Nostalgic

A feeling of sadness and longing that is not akin to pain, and resembles sorrow only as the mist resembles the rain. 78 People

I love the feeling of nostalgia.

It's weird because I love the feeling yet feel kind of sad because I'll usually be thinking about my childhood when everyday seemed like a sunny day and life was simple. What's even weirder is that this mixture of happiness and sadness makes me feel so peaceful. Sometimes when I...

    The Effects of Nostalgia

i'm quite amazed at how looking at pictures, smelling those certain scents, hearing music, being places etc can trigger memories of the past. i know its not healthy to dwell so much in the past but to put yourself back in certain past memories gives an amazing sensation.
