    Ducks

I have never owned a bird (I have 3 cats) but I love the creatures.  There is a local park I go to regularly and I feed the ducks, geese, pigeons and gulls there.  It is one of my ways to relax and sort out what's going on in my life while communing with nature.

I grew up with pets here and there, but my favorites were the budgies. We had an Ernie for awhile, but I didn't know if there was a Bert. Ernie was scrawny and sickly, and didn't last long. We had a snowflake for awhile, named so for the blue feathery chest with little bits of...

Winged Elegance And The Lowly Observer

I love birds! My husband won't let me have any,

boo hoo, so I have to be content watching the birds outside. I've had many parakeets and cockatiels in my time and I've always wanted a parrot of some type to teach things to. Guess I'll keep dreaming on this one!
