I can't stand most of the domestic "Mega-brews" (ie; Bud, Miller, Coors) because they all seem so homogenous to me. I have, for years been a dark, "craft" beer drinker, although many of these are now produced on large scale. I am particularly fond of wheat...
First had it in about 1995 on a bicycle trip from Eugene, Oregon to Los Angeles. Biking 40-60 miles a day on a loaded touring bike makes you thirsty...I remember seeing this brand and fell for the quaint label. I instantly knew I was a fan of Belgian ale.
Cold glass, add a little orange, and pour it in. I love BMB...When I had my first beer it was MGD, then on to Rolling Rock and few different pale ales at a tap house, but once I tried BM, I knew I'd found my forever one.
(Sweetie, are you stalking me here too? LOL )
Blue Moon Belgian White Wheat Ale
I'm not much of a beer drinker, but Man!! A nice cold Blue Moon tastes so frickin good!
I have one in hand right now, am taking the last, smooth sip, and am reaching into the fridge for another!
I don't know how to say L'chaim, chin chin...
I could write poetry about this stuff!! Fantastic flavor, good alcohol content. Seems like where i live I am the only guy around who appreciates it! Then last spring when the Spring Sampler 12 pack came out I could hardly think straight unless there was one in the fridge!!
