    I Feel Closer

They make me feel closer to my heritage.  I am part Irish and man, I love everything about Ireland so far... well, not the fighting and the abusive Catholic priests and nuns, but you know, everything else.... lol

    Always Have!

I always loved Celtic crosses and said that if I wore a cross, it would have to be Celtic.  Well, one morning I was out and decided to stop into an Irish shop to browse.  I saw the most beautiful Celtic crosses and decided to buy one since I never buy...

All of Those Knots Make Me Feel Naughty

I love the Celtic crosses, but I do favor the love knots the most. There is just something about the symbolic knotting of two individuals together that just gets to me.

I love Celtic crosses. Have for a long time. Even though I'm not a Christian, I like these because of some of the intricate scrollwork on them. I've owned several, but I also like ancient Egyptian ankhs. Both the crosses and ankhs have a definite human shape to them.

Besides Celtic crosses, I like other symbols as well. I think that ancient Egyptian ankhs are neat, as are the Jewish mogan david.

I Like Celtic Crosses and Knots Too.

I've read a it about ancient Celtic symbolism and later literary embellishments such as painted in The Book of Kells. You might enjoy one of my favorite reference books titled, How the Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill, c. 1995. Are you into Druidry?
