I Love Cemetaries

I think the title pretty much sums it up, actually. Except for the misspelling. Oops! 1,120 People

    Where Dead People Live

I Love cemeteries, Always have. I don't mean any cemeteries. I mean the kind we still have around here, where they still let you plant pretty much whatever you want on the graves and the stones  come in endless varieties according to the taste or budget of the purchasers...

    Energy

I feel peace and energy when I walk threw a necropolis. I feel partly dead at points in my life a lot, so taking in the peace of the dead helps me to unwind some pressures of living. Sometimes I envy that they no longer experience pain, but I remember to enjoy feeling everything...

I Belong To "Find A Grave"

I googled my Dad's name about 4 years ago to see if any of his military or other records were listed online. Up pops his headstone! It's on a site called findagrave.com. Since then I have found a couple more friends and relatives. The people that take the pictures will sign them...

    My Alone Time.

I run in a cemetary for exercise.  half the time, though, I stop to read headstones and reflect on the meaning of life, death, and the general order of the cosmos.    My boyfriend keeps saying it's macabre, but I feel so at peace there.

I used to visit my family plot quite seldom. Lately, I find myself in the graveyard every other week. I don't talk to dead family out loud, I just think about them and remember them. I have taken the old ''they live on in your memories'' to heart. Maybe they are not quite dead to...
