    Random Factoid

Namaste! In Hindi, the word "chai" means "tea". So....the name of this group is, essentially, I Love Tea Tea. (Not to be confused with I love ***** which many of you, I am aware, do.) What Americans call "chai tea" is actually spiced tea which, in Hindi, is referred to as...

    Yes! ...

Yes! It's a winter-time treat for me. I'll buy green and red chai tea and sweeten it to my own liking. I'm not fond of the Oregon Chai boxed tea...it's too sweet. But I love chai!

    I Love Chai

I love Chai. Being of Indian origin, I suppose that is natural. We drink chai all the time. It's amazing to see Chai Tea, as it is called in the West, spread all over, and change so much. I am kind of a purist in some ways, but then again from looking at the history of Chai, even...

    Cinnamon Is Majic

Almost every morning, I wake up and put on the kettle. Then I steep a Chai Green Tea bad in a mug. Then I remove the tea bag, add cinnamon and some sugar or stevia and finally some rice or soy milk. I think that cinnamon must be magic because I grave it at the most interesting...

Yes, I Love Tea In General....

Yes, I love tea in general. Especially when it's a home-made spice tea. It's always a great blend no matter how you alter it.

    Drinking It Now.

Someone gave me the idea that I should relax with a cup of tea, so I went and made a chai tea latte. It is delicious, I've thoroughly enjoyed it.  Now I'm alot calmer.  Although, I am contemplating things, and I am afraid of the feelings I am getting

    Chai By the Campfire

Theres nothing like a nice warm, sweet, and creamy cup of chai tea while sitting by a campfire.  mmmm Ill buy the premade stuff in a can so its easier. You just add water like you would to a cup of hot cocoa. Then you sit back and stare into the fire and relax.

    Chai Is Amazing

I first tried Chai when I started working at Starbucks and I fell in love. I don't so much like the chai tea in the bag as I do the latte kind though. And I almost always drink mine cold. I buy those cartons of Chai concentrate and just put half that, and half cold milk and...

    Chai Fanatic

I have always been an iced-chai type of guy. Until recently, I purchased my Chai Latte from Starbucks... Now I make them at home :) Anyway, the funny part is.. I am home from college visiting my parents and my mom insists that several hours after drinking the Chai tea I was...

    My Herbal Chai

When I brew the spices and the tea for my home-made Chai Tea, I usually include a handful of herbs as well. My favorite: a big bunch of fresh mint. This gives the chai tea a refreshing zing - even if I take it hot, it is still such a cooling drink because of the mint essence...

    OOOOH Yes I Do!

I can drink the stuff everyday if I could afford it. I know people bag on Starbucks, but they have my favorite, it's so flavorful and crisp to drink. But on cold mornings I like to sip Oregon Chai when its really hot and just hold it in my mouth as it warms me all over. mmmmmm...

    Chai - Absolutely Delicious

I adore Chai - in it's tea leaf form, powdered form - ANY form! The best I have ever tasted was from a cafe called "The Jam Shop" on Fairy Meadow, a suburb of Wollongong near Sydney, Australia.  I went there for lunch with a work colleague. They make it according...

    Found A Great Brand!

Blue Lotus Chai: I like the traditional Masala blend, not too stong, not too weak, perfect with a little milk and very convenient. This one is a finely ground powder so all you have to do is add to hot water. I like it with milk and sugar and it gets spicier with more sugar. It's...
