    They're Good Fun

I especially like fairy tale ones, though I don't have very many. I mainly have children's novels. I read a few at the hospital with a friend recently and they were so fun.

    Not Just For Kids

Sure, picture books aren't just for kids!  After all, most of them are written and illustrated by adults.  I have so much fun looking through the stacks at second hand book stores for all the titles I wanted as a child, but never had.  Then there are the ones that...

I work at a library on a Thursday

and Friday and I will read one before shelving it. I'll read an I Spy book. Or I'll read one from Gymboree called Bubble Play and it has some activities to do from1-4 years old like popping bubbles to using a hula hoop to cover yourself in a bubble to having a bubble party.

    Foreign Languages

I like to get children's books in foreign languages, mostly German, because they are written simply.  I have some I have gotten in Europe.  (It's always a pain to pack for coming back.  I would have stayed if it was possible.)  I like to shop at Amazon.de...

Our Own Little Silver Wombat By:adjyo

Most stories are about strange or unusual things but this story is not. This story is about something ordinary. As ordinary as blue buckets, as ordinary as yellow gumboots, as ordinary as an old pair of shorts. This story is about a little silver wombat...

Blessed to Have a 6 Year Old Son

Great Logo choice for this group Tasmin!    Leo Lionni is one of our favorites, but our list is very very long.  Eric Caryl, Sendak, my mother - too many to name, plus I am a lousy speller - of names that is. I am grateful my son loves books.  I...
