I am a product of my parents' generation of

music. Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne... I'll take the worst of their songs over a lot of modern music.

Some of my favorite groups include Pink Floyd,

the Eagles, the doors, AC/DC, the who, Leonard Skynyrd, and so many more. My world revolves around music, to the point where I could be busy with a conversation or any other task and completely lose my focus upon hearing a good song. Once I was at a cookout talking to some...

The best classic rock bands I've seen would

have to be Van Halen and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I'm excited that I get to fulfill a bucket list item next year and see David Gilmore in Chicago. Pink Floyd has had a profound effect on how I feel about life.

    Rock music today is great.

I am a huge fan of the Black Keys but classic rock, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin these are the gods. Rock is now respectable but I prefer the ones who came first, those who blazed the trail. Anyone can live in settled territory its the...

Does anyone else live through old albums, CDs, and iPods with old jams instead of the radio?

    I know HOW it happened,

but I don't remember which song, in particular, was instrumental in me becoming a life long devotee of the genre. I'm hooked on 60s 70s and 80s "classic rock" and pop. When I was young, my Dad used to play a lot of British rock on the stereo. I used to just love to look at...

    A Tribute To The Greats
