    The Rolling Stones album,

"Let it Bleed," also "Steel Wheels," which was their best work since "Tattoo You," eight years before.

They haven't been around long enough to be

considered Classic Rock but a band cut from the same material is the BLACK KEYS. Gold on the Ceiling baby. Great song.

I am a product of my parents' generation of

music. Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne... I'll take the worst of their songs over a lot of modern music.

The best classic rock bands I've seen would

have to be Van Halen and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. I'm excited that I get to fulfill a bucket list item next year and see David Gilmore in Chicago. Pink Floyd has had a profound effect on how I feel about life.

I love to listen to the more Progressive bands

that came out of the early 70's. Bands like PFM, Camel, early Genesis, ELP, King Crimson, Gentle Giant and Uriah Heep, just to name a few. There were so many other bands around the same time that were on smaller labels who made great music but didn't get the airplay they...

No band exemplifies classic rock better

than my favorite band, Rush. Their unparallelled instrumentals are just a joy to my ears. Aerosmith, the Eagles, and many more are among my favorites too. Makes me wish I was born in that era!

    A Tribute To The Greats

Some of my favorite groups include Pink Floyd,

the Eagles, the doors, AC/DC, the who, Leonard Skynyrd, and so many more. My world revolves around music, to the point where I could be busy with a conversation or any other task and completely lose my focus upon hearing a good song. Once I was at a cookout talking to some...

one that I ENJOY a lot is: The Black Cat Bones... that bluesy rock that goes beyond the flesh, beyond the bones, beyond the matter, and grabs your conscience... yeah, beyond that... an album of them I really like -and I'm currently listening- is "Barbed Wire Sandwich". What an...

    Modern rock is great

and all but classic rock is a little more timeless and made it possible for all the current rock acts that around today. Those classic legendary bands may be old or gone now but the influence their music had will be around forever.

    I know HOW it happened,
