What has happened to the good old music.

You know songs like Looking out the Back door, Bungle in the Jungle. Beth. SMOKE ON THE WATER.,DIARY of a Madman , Shooting Star ,Foreplay Long time , etc. That is just a few of the songs that I would hear on the radio at the perfect time. There are some songs that I listen to I...

you're missing the meaning of life. ^_^ Zeppelin, U2, KISS, ACDC, Foreigner, Kansas, The Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Def Leppard...ok, ok. I'll stop listing the artists who created the soundtracks to my life. Haha!

    I know HOW it happened,

but I don't remember which song, in particular, was instrumental in me becoming a life long devotee of the genre. I'm hooked on 60s 70s and 80s "classic rock" and pop. When I was young, my Dad used to play a lot of British rock on the stereo. I used to just love to look at...

    A Tribute To The Greats

It is impossible not to be thankful to those many great musicians that contributed to my love for music. I grew up in a very conservative household with dad being the great disciplinarian and not at all keen on his children listening to "this modern crap they call music" . I...

In my opinion, people are losing touch of the

real acoustics in music. It's mostly all electro and computer generated music, not that there's anything wrong with that. Anyone can make a mix on a computer and add a bass drop, but you don't see people using real acoustics like back then. It may just be evolution, it may not

Deja Vu By Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

One of the best rock songs I've ever heard in my life. Don't believe me? Listen to it. And if you don't get it, keep listening until you do.The song begins at 19:19 although, it could also benefit you to listen to the whole album.

No band exemplifies classic rock better

than my favorite band, Rush. Their unparallelled instrumentals are just a joy to my ears. Aerosmith, the Eagles, and many more are among my favorites too. Makes me wish I was born in that era!

It's good to see so many young people

who like real and good Rock and Roll. As far as what I hear seems like everything out these days is really rap and not Rock. If there were enough young people who demanded good music there would be new bands creating it.

Classic Rock is one of my favorite genres,

I think we were always supposed to find each other. Even though it wasn't what I predominantly grew up listening to. A lot of the artist who make up this genre are "freethinkers" offstage.. & they're advocating these beliefs into the music, which makes it genuine. It's...
