When i was 6 my dad took me to a pink floyd laser light show. I accidentally called them pink flamingo, but i love pink floyd and i love when i play an old song and my parents are surprised that i like or even know it. :)
The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, John Lennon, AC/DC, Queen, Kid rock, Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, Lenny Kravitz, Genesis, and tonssssss more, but too lazy to write them all :). These are my uttermost favorite.
One of the best rock songs I've ever heard in my life. Don't believe me? Listen to it. And if you don't get it, keep listening until you do.The song begins at 19:19 although, it could also benefit you to listen to the whole album.
I think "The Kinks" are my favourite rock band. When I was a teen-ager I remember listening always the same record with great songs : "The Hard Way" , "Schooldays", "Headmaster". I came to tears sometimes even if I do not understand all the lyrics. I love the voice of the singer...
It is impossible not to be thankful to those many great musicians that contributed to my love for music. I grew up in a very conservative household with dad being the great disciplinarian and not at all keen on his children listening to "this modern crap they call music" .
Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who, Pink Floyd, and some lesser known bands I recently discovered called Electric Prunes, Stoneground, spirit, and something with the name chocolate watch band... I think.
How can you go wrong with bands like led zepplin, the doors, the animals, black sabbath, the rolling stones, the beatles, jimi hendrix, and my alltime personal favourite pink floyd, the list is endless, music like this is good for the soul!
I grew up listening to the classic bands-Rush, Black Sabbath, Dio, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith, and so many others that itll take too long to write them all out. My dad taught me this music and i remember reciting members of bands and playing "name that song" in the car with him. I...

I don't so much have a story, so I'm gonna just make a list ^_^ not all "classic rock" but at least close.
-Stevie Ray Vaughn
-lots more that I can't remember at the moment :S
Pink Floyd, Rush, The Who, Yes, Journey, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, Deep Purple, Queen, Black Sabbath, Cream, Boston, Steve Miller Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Grateful Dead and much more!!

I was raised in the fifties and sixties listening to my sisters choice of music (she was six years older) and though the Platters, Temptations, Smokey and the Miracles, The four Tops, Sam and Dave, All of Motown and Otis Redding had their influences on rock. Even the blues...
such a broad, broad genre... But I love a lot of older music, especially rock. Everything from 1940s - 1990s. I could write you pages and pages of my favorite bands... But some of my favorite artists include:
The Kinks, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Los Bravos, Chuck Berry, Johnny...
I love classic rock music because it reminds me of my childhood. My dad had albums and 8-tracks of Steely Dan, Santana, Sly and The Family Stone, The Eagles, CCR, Bread, The Beetles, Three Dog Night, America, and many more.
I love the 70's rock the best. ...
and seventies is still holding up. Even top musicians of today refer back to Bowie, Aeorsmith, Led Zepilien, Black Sabbath, Stevie Wonder, Sly Stone. Those guys stood the test of time and are still relevant.
Floyd, The Dead, The Who, Hendrix, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Janis Joplin, The Doors!
As well as anything else from the 60s :) Wasn't born in the right decade! You're cheap talk won't even cause me pain, so let your bullets fly like rain...
