I Love Classic Rock

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 6,498 People

    I adore classic rock!

Does anyone else live through old albums, CDs, and iPods with old jams instead of the radio?

I am a product of my parents' generation of

music. Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne... I'll take the worst of their songs over a lot of modern music.

It's good to see so many young people

who like real and good Rock and Roll. As far as what I hear seems like everything out these days is really rap and not Rock. If there were enough young people who demanded good music there would be new bands creating it.

My dad would always listen to this song, or my brother would always listen to it while working out. I pretty much know every word to this song.

Deja Vu By Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

One of the best rock songs I've ever heard in my life. Don't believe me? Listen to it. And if you don't get it, keep listening until you do.The song begins at 19:19 although, it could also benefit you to listen to the whole album.

Classic Rock is one of my favorite genres,

I think we were always supposed to find each other. Even though it wasn't what I predominantly grew up listening to. A lot of the artist who make up this genre are "freethinkers" offstage.. & they're advocating these beliefs into the music, which makes it genuine. It's...

In my opinion, people are losing touch of the

real acoustics in music. It's mostly all electro and computer generated music, not that there's anything wrong with that. Anyone can make a mix on a computer and add a bass drop, but you don't see people using real acoustics like back then. It may just be evolution, it may not
