I can't listen to heroes (And can barely make

it through ashes to ashes) I used to listen to them to fall asleep.. now I can't. I don't know, im still really sad and cannot listen to Heroes (definitely not five years! that song was already sad) without crying about Bowie. I've been fine for a while but it really does hit me...

He had a huge impact on my young life.

My school friends and I all took a shine to his (then) ten year old albums 'Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars', the Berlin Trilogy albums and 'Station To Station' then he released 'Scary Monsters And Super Creeps' with 'Ashes To Ashes' storming the Summer singles charts...

I don't know where I'm going from here,

but I promise it won't be boring. I always had a repulsive need to be something more than human. I felt very puny as a human. I thought, "**** that. I want to be a superhuman. I'm an instant star. Just add water and stir. ~ David Bowie RIP...

Ever since I was a young child I knew David

Bowie was my soul mate. I had repressed memories of him into my adulthood. I remembered watching Labyrinth as a small girl but must have been no older than 6 and could not remember the name of the movie or find it. But alas, not even a year ago I was reunited with my most...

    David Bowie is older now

but he is so beautiful. My favorite is labyrinth. He was so beautiful I wish I could have danced with him in that ballroom scene. I also think he's very original and different regarding his songs https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0nSzSfmC4MI If anyone wants to be mesmerized :)

I had the privilege of growing up with David

Bowie as a "mentor". I believe it was 1973 when he started a long term contract with RCA records for 60 million where he would record 10 albums (LPs) at that time an unheard sum of money. He became incredibly influential and yet somewhat taboo because of his declared bisexuality...

This is a very sad loss.

I was the right age at the right time for Bowie's big career surge in the 80s. The first major concert I ever went to was a David Bowie concert, and I saw him two other times as well. . In addition to music, he was a talented actor and visual artist. . This hurts, this really...

Finally got to listen to his last album,

Blackstar. It's a haunting, beautiful, towering work of art that emerges as a kind of void between life and death. I especially got a little choked up at the line "Look up here I'm in heaven". If you haven't listened to the album yet, DO, because it further demonstrates Bowie's...
