I Love Different Cultures and Languages

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 875 People

Me too and I am fascinated by the differences

between US English and REAL English. I try to be polite and say "thank you" etc to as many non-natives as I can. I am fluent in schoolboy French and know enough Welsh to be polite when I'm there. You?

I really wanna learn more about Russia

and Japan. Most history classes don't cover world history past 1800's Europe, and the only world war that's covered is the second. If it's WORLD history, why is the education so selective about the eras and countries we learn about?

We are all the result of culture because; "If

you were raised by a headhunter tribe in the amazon, if you never saw anything else, and never traveled, you'd be a headhunter" If you went to the far north and told an Eskimo that if he traveled outside of his life area, he could have anything. He would never reply that he...
