    My Music

    I've been more into heavy music - both metal and classics (mix Iron Maiden with Wagner) but a friend gave me some Gregorian chants. What a revelation - just sink into the voices and absorb the tones and feel. It's a whole new world.

    Hei Mihi Domine

    'Hei Mihi Domine' by Francisco Guerrero (1528-1599) is to me one of the most beautiful motets I have ever heard.  All the parts weave together creating lush poignant harmonies.  I can lose myself in this piece of music until I am in a different place, somewhere outside...

    Especially The Stuff From The Baltimore Consort

    I don't claim to be an expert on the stuff or anything like that but I enjoy the sound. A Google search on videos for Baltimore Consort will bring up them and various other groups also performing early music.
