    Mea Culpa As A Child

I was about 4 or 5 when I fell for her. She was tall and had the longest eyelashes I'd ever seen...I was amazed at her gentleness as I climbed upon her back so high; she was silent and still. I remember what her hair felt like as I pet her and spoke highly secrets to my new...

I have always found elephants fascinating

creatures. I adore the way the love and protect one another. That's why, for several years now, I've collected figurines of elephants. I have a rule though. I never buy them. They can only be gifted. That makes them extra extra special. They become treasures.

This one was made with watercolor pencils.

Every time I paint, it feels like I sort of zone out, so the end result is always a bit of a surprise. I really love how this one carries so much affection. I know it's not really me who is painting but Spirit, as I've never taken any classes. (:

Every since I got my blue,

stuffed elephant when I was three years old, these creatures have always intrigued me. Riding an elephant is on the top of my bucket list. They're so fascinating in that they're so much like humans: generally of good temperament, only violent when they really need to be (or when...
