    Fox! The station called fox!

They robbed from the poor and they gave to the rich. Their best shows are the ones that they always ditch. Its easy to see, why they’re the ones Greoning mocks, The villian of television, the station called Fox! Now Fox saw Whedon’s back was breakin'. He saw Whedon lament...

    I Think This Show Rocks!

Joss Whedon is a genius, and I love the actors, Jewel Staite and Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk especially. Just a shame no more episodes were made!

I Ended Up Watching It Because

I enjoyed Buffy. It quickly became a favorite of mine, then just as quickly it ended. I watched it in less than a week and still wish there was more. I have yet to watch the movie though.

I have a dad who is an SF nut,

a bit of that rubbed off on me, its nice to share a movie on a cold winter day curled up in the TV room. But of all the shows we watch we watch Firefly and Serenity more than anything else.

    Love This Show!

I'd never heard of it until someone loaned me the entire season(s) on dvd.  I couldn't stop watching them.  I'm not into westerns, but come on, a space western... sorta.  These are well all developed characters.  My absolute favorite character is Kaylee. ...

    Why?

Why did they have to cancel this show???   My favorite show is Jaynestown.   "River, honey, he's putting away the hair now." "It won't matter, it will still be there...waiting."   (^_^)

    Something Special

This show is just something above and beyond normal TV.  There's a spark, there's a passion, there's just something to it. The funny thing is, even the friends I have who aren't into SciFi (or cowboys for that matter) absolutely fall in love with this show because...

Why The Hell Was This Show Ever Cancelled?

I'll never understand the motive for cancelling Firefly. It's a fantastic show. The plotline's ingenious, the characters are great and funny, and the mix of Western and Sci-Fi works surprisingly well. As far as I know, there was no insentive for cancelling except for that Fox are...

    A Real Western In Space

Everything that Star Trek was supposed to be and much more. Great humor, hot girls, lots of violence, well developed characters that are not sterotypes of good or evil.  If you haven't seen it- go buy, borrow, or steal it right now!

Totally Agree With The +ve Comments

Firefly was exceptional TV and a great example of Wheldons brilliance. Had far too short a life but unfortunately most people didn't realise how brilliant it was till it hit the DVD.

If there's one gorram consolation we

as Firefly fans can have, it's that our show went out not just on a high note, but exclusively on high notes. Even the worst episode of Firefly (and I can't really think of one I could stomach calling 'worst') is more clever and more enjoyable than most of the other offerings...

    More Firefly!

I will never forgive the idiots at Fox for canceling this unique gem among the mountains of detritus that is TV. However, there are also 2 graphic novels written by Joss: "Those Left Behind", an arc between the series and the movie, and "Better Days", basically a pre-movie...

I saw Firefly was on tv, but never watched it. Not big on westerns or space. But one day, my husband brought the season 1 dvd from the video store, and I was bored, so I watched it.. Oh, yeah! Space cowboys! I fell in love with the series, and then with the movie. The...

    In Remembrance ...

When the stars shine bright through the engine's trail And the dust of another world drops behind When my ship is free of the open sky That's a damn good day to my way of mind There's a barren planet you never can leave There's a rocky valley where we lost a war There...

Started watching without know a thing about it, and I'm thinking "what is this, I know it's Joss Whedon and all (massive Buffy fan) but I don't get it, it's weird and complicated." 5 minutes in, I was jumping on my chair laughing with delight. Space cowboys! My DREAM! Anyone...

Firefly Is The Least Sexest Thing To Happen To Sci-Fi

The bechdel test is pretty simple, i use it as the first step in deciding whether or not i think a movie or show is sexest... The bechdel test is easy, there is 3 questions: 1. Is there 2 or more main and named female characters (in this case YES) 2. If yes, do they talk to one...
