    Theres something about fishing

that produces a serenity of mind. You put your line in the water and you never know what's below the surface. Your imagination is under there.

    Still A Beginner....

I am learning to fly fish for different types of fish. Where I live there are no trout, so I am fishing for bass and bluegill.  It is a very relaxing hobby. I also enjoy tying flies.

    Just a Beginner.

I'm only just learning to fly fish now but so far, I love it! I have always admired how people can fly fish and how easy it seems to them. My b/f fly fishes and always catches a ton of fish that way. I have sat in the other end of his boat with a spinning reel and...

    Are Women Better At It?

There is a rumour that says that if the elastic from the leg of a woman's panties is used to tie the fly, the trout will fight for the fly. It has to do with pheromones apparently. So are women better at flyfishing than men? What about female trout, is it the same with them? X@

    The Whole Experience

Up here in the Northwest, we fish for salmon and steelhead in the fall and winter, and trout in the summer. I like going out along the clear water streams, and looking for the bugs. What nymphs are hatching? What bugs are flying around? Then try fly patterns that are similar to...
