I Love Forests and Trees

    Its Gothic!

Trees are nature's cathedral and I like to worship at the source. Being in tune with nature while living in the confusion of urban life is essential. Making sense of the world of work and greed while you are with the trees is a security for me.

    Autumnal Ambiguity

One of the best days I've ever had was with my

father walking in the Foret de Fontainebleau when I was ten. He was explaining hand history of the forest, and talking about the trees, which genus each was. It was so vivid, so interesting. And it was time spent with my father.

    Red Wood Forest

Last year I was really depressed. I had decided that I didn't want to live anymore and I was going to commit suicide. I went through a lot of mental, emotional, and physical pain in 2007 and didn't want to deal with it anymore. What made me realize that killing myself wouldn't...

    Sleeping Trees

I don't deal well with winter, bad weather or too blasted cold to go outside to enjoy nature. Today, for the first of January, it was a decent day. The temp was around 55 and a big blue sky above, with one bright ball of light, shining on me. So after work today, i drove the...

We need them to live; a world of bare soil

and concrete flooded by rain that has nowhere to go to is a pared down monstrosity. We build such ugliness, when our examples are so beautiful. A tree is creation, evolving; a building is chaos, an eyesore, it can only decay. Trees give us air, buildings give us claustrophobia...

My name means town of the ash tree,

so I have always felt at ease around nature. I love the depths of the forest. The sound of rain falling from leaf to leaf, tree limb to tree limb. I love how every tree tells a story. A story of survival, strength, and grandeur.

    Highest Hill In The Range

    The Woodland Wench

Embracing the beauty of the bark, She lays on a bed of fallen leaves, Embarking on her journey of her love of the trees, Basking under its shade and protection, She rests with comfort and peace, And is in awe of the provisions of nature.
