Actually I Don't Know The Difference

I don't know too much about taste differences in beer. I DO know tap tastes a bit better than the can. Budweiser gives me a quicker buzz. And Miller Lite gives me the shiznitz. Other than that, give me the cold, a lil foam, and I'm good to go!

Here's my example of a good beer.

Place: Wrigley Field, Bleacher Section Event: Cardinals / Cubs Beer: Old Style I do not typically drink Old Style unless I'm at Wrigley Field. There's something about drinking an Old Style sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley on a hot summer day.

Crazy eyes for the love of beer!

Lots of beer!I remember the days that I just refused to like beer. It really wasn't my fault. People my age, at the time, were shoving their **** colored, force carbonated monstrosities. Why would I want to drink a ****** flavored wannabe soda? I'd rather have a normal one...

I joined the Beer Club at my local Pizza

and Pub. For a modest annual fee we get a T shirt, 20 oz frozen glasses at the usual price of their 16 oz glasses, and a monthly beer tasting. This month the No-Li brewerey (Spokane, WA) is presenting their products. Bottoms up.

There some splendid beers in the world.

I love a good IPA, and am a real sucker for German beers. I am not a real fan of the mass produced muck we have in many pubs in England, nor of the nationwide bland beers found in the US. Please, please, more local brews!!!

Life is too short to drink bad beer!

Sadly most mass produced beer in England and especially America is only fit for putting out fires. Fortunately there's been another revolution with the creation of independent breweries. I hear great things about the craft beers from the States and have enjoyed the ones I've...

    Dark Brews

I'm obsessed with dark brews. The stoutier, the better. My favorite beer (currently) would have to be the Wreck Alley imperil stout. Although it's not extremely stouty, its taste is smooth and has a whopping 9.5% ABV. I admit that it's really the chocolate and espresso notes that...
