I Love Handwritten Letters

Personal Stories, Advice, and Support 4,816 People

When I was in college my Nana,

who I was very close to, literally wrote to me every single day while I was gone--be it a lengthy letter or a little note attached to a $5 bill, I always had at least one piece of mail during the week. Sundays were always a little sad since there was no mail, but it was the day...

A Letter For The Right Person At The Right Time

Have you ever wanted to write a letter hoping it would reach the right person at the right time? If I were to do that, it would read something like this: Dear Wonderful One: I cannot tell you how much it means to me that you have shared and trusted me with your heart. I know it...

There is something so beautiful about a hand

    Who can say they don’t?

Who can say they are not excited and overwhelmed at the thought of opening that special envelope with the message crafted just for you? Handwritten letters are a craft. They are not just words, or anagrams, or slang phrases meant to deliver quick bullets of information. They...

Do kids these days still write each other
