Do You Know Where *your* Towel Is?

I absolutely LOVE this series. I read it at least once a year. it always helps me when I feel myself beginning to take myself too seriously. I cannot tell you a favorite part, because they are all my favorite parts. Poor, unprepared, perplexed Arthur Dent. Ah. It must be a...

    Douglas Rocks!

Adams's books are the best I have ever read! I have probably read hitchikers 7 times and the other books at least 3 times each! I just have trouble finding Last Chance To See. If anyone knows where I can find it, please let me know! Great group by the way! Till later!

My Favorite Line From The Series

I believe this excerpt is from The Restaurant at the end of the Universe. Allow me to attempt to set up the scene: Ford and Arthur somehow travel back in time and get onto a ship filled with humanity's ancestors. The captain litterally spent centuries sitting in a bathtub. He...

    Small, Yellow, Leechlike

I've got to go with the Babel Fish.  Though Vogon Poetry, The Infinite Improbability Drive, and Slartibartfast's Fjords rank high on my list. Now it is such a bizarrely improbable coincidence that anything so mind-bogglingly useful could have evolved purely...

I Reference It All the Time

I own the Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide and I couldn't put it down until it was finished. I don't know which book was my favorite, but I saw the movie before I started reading. I kept seeing Mos Def as Ford Prefect and heard the voice of Alan Rickman when Marvin talked. I laughed...

In Case of Emergency Don't Push This Button.

I love the 5 book triology.  Douglas Adams wit and sarcastic look at who we are and how we react to things is absultly abusrd truth. If you do not know all the books here: The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy-The restrurant at the end of the universe-life the universe and...

    Genius

Douglas Addams was a genius.  To think the whole idea came to him in a drunken stupor.I believe that The Hitchhiker's Guide is a sarcastic, but none the less, accurate look at life.
