I Love Home Made Cookies

My daughter has recently developed an interest in baking.  So she has been making cakes, brownis and cookies - all from scratch! 
 
Last night she made butterscotch oatmeal cookies - my favorite.  Life is good...

My mother made homemade cookies and my younger daughter is quite a cook as well. The local hyvee has a bakery a few blocks from my home.  

Its just that my dad likes the taste of burnt so everything he cooks is slightly burnt, mind you he is an excellent cook but he just likes the taste...

MMM They smell and taste so delicious. I prefer the warm gooiness of fresh cookies from the oven. They just don't taste the same cold.
