Ireland Is The Friendliest Place I've Ever Been.

    Erin Go Bragh!

I left my heart in Ireland back in 2009. Such a beautiful country and great people, I know that deep deep inside me there's an Ol' Irish soul =)

    Come On Ireland!

My Irish Dad emigrated to England in 1950. He describes the day before his departure as like ‘a wake.’ At 18 he was the eldest of nine. His Mother was not only losing a son, but her confidant, her helper, and above all the young man who filled the small cramped house...

Poor Ireland- No Stories In Her Favour

I live in Northern Ireland, but love the whole of Ireland.  I have spent so many summer holidays travelling around the different Counties, each night staying in a different County. It is a country that has a strange relationship with those connected to it, in that it...

So this was a while back.

.. Can't remember the exact year, but I was fascinated by the gorgeous sunrises and the mysterious mists that would rise every morning so I caught a photo of one after exploring for a bit. Well, I call it exploring, but it was more like getting lost! XD

If you ever get lost in Ireland

and pull over to ask for directions. You will gat an answer that lasts for 45 minutes. They will tell you what they had for dinner, what they got for Christmas, how their children are doing in school. You will exchange email addresses and phone numbers. You will make a life long...

    Where Is Home?

I moved to the US in the early 80's. I love the US but part of my heart and soul still lives in Ireland. When I used to visit Ireland I would say to friends here in the US "I'm going home" for a visit. That went on for many years and I would shed tears leaving my homeland and...

The cliffs of Moher were beautiful.

Ireland is so green and magical. It's like a wonderland of fairytales. With so many castles and ones that are abandoned but lie in the beauty of the landscape. I'd love to go again any day. Just to hear the sounds of Ireland's music of nature.
