    The Suspense Is Amazing!

     That's the thing with the J-Horror movies....it's the pacing and what's not seen a lot of the time and then it just pops up and scares the crap outta ya....great! Just why I like them...   Got a soft spot for 'The Ring' and it's off shoots...such powerful imagery...

    American Horror Just Doesn't Cut It.

    It just seems like it's all the same.  But Japanese horror is actually thought provoking.  My favorites have to be Infection and Uzumaki, but I also like Ringu, Ju-on....And a lot more that I can't remember.  Lol.  I get a lot that have, like, four movies...

    Yay for Japanese horror movies! There are so many great movies that keep you on the edge of seat... and yes, they're definitely better than the hollywood versions. The new movie that came out not long ago- "One missed call"? Ewww. Hollywood sucks. But the Japanese...

    America Just Doesn't Do It For Me...

    American "horror" has overwhelmingly become passe, predictible, and pretty pathetic.  I've now switched to Japanese horror films--they make me shriek, jump, and get a little spooked well after if it's dark out and I'm alone (or everybody else is sleeping).
