    Talent Personified

I fell in love with Jeff Buckley the first time I heard one of his songs on the radio. It was "Last Goodbye", and his voice was so ethereal that I wasn't sure whether it was a male or female artist at first. It will remain one of my greatest regrets that I never saw him play...

    Gone Too Soon

Jeff Buckley is an amazing artist.  His music makes me so emotional.  "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" is just the most desperately in love song I've ever heard.  He's completely raw and emotional while singing it.  And "Hallelujah"...

    Speaks Volumes

    Hallelujah

My favourite songs of his are Hallelujah and Grace. I cry listening to his voice, there's nobody who can sing like him. There are so many versions of Hallelujah and although some are excellent, I really don't believe any can touch Jeff's. Jason Manns' version is probably the...

    When I listen to him,

he enters my soul and soothes me. We're like kindred sprits. He understood. In a way that most never ever will.

    Such A Sublime Voice.

I am overcome with emotion whenever I listen to Jeff Buckley's music. His voice is just indescribable. I speak in present tense because his music is still alive. When he drifts into falsetto, I just melt and the whole world seems to collapse upon that moment. Very few singers do...
