    I have school tomorrow,

but I'm going the a day later because I am moving schools. I am worried but I have high hopes for myself because this time God is with me. Hopefully I will make friends, which is something I have always found difficult to make. Ya ali!

    Waaaay To Much Drama

I love learning, being less ignorant about the things around me. But its sooooo hard to accomplish that when you have stupis, worthless popularity contest to your left, and ridiculous, untrue gossip going on on your right. I made it my main priority to go to school and learn and...

I love to learn. I could sit down with a book

and get lost among the pages. But I don't have any time to do this because of school. I can only read a book if I am able to have a large chunk of time available to read a good portion of the book. I can't read only a chapter a day or else I forget what I have already read...

The School System Fails For Out Of The Ordinary Cases

I am attending high school in Washington State, and I can honestly say that when it comes to kids that have interesting academic histories, the school system fails miserably. I was homeschooled my entire life up until last year. When I entered public school, my counselor at the...

Why I Hate School But Love Education ( Spoken Word Video )

As the cyclical and seemingly never ending debate about education rages on, the topic - somewhat ironically, often poses more questions than it provides answers. But what is the value of mainstream schooling? Why is it that some of the most high profile and successful figures...

    Unfortuantely, from what I've seen,

the problem lies in the teachers. They've a tendency to disrespect students. They treat their students as through the latter are toddlers or, worse yet, hardened criminals - as if their students have always done something wrong and can't "lower" themselves into seeing eye to eye...

The districts education system is very useless

in my opinion. Everyone just wants to pass with no aspirations for the future and if they did have any at one point, they go down the drain. Since schools base everything on an average system & stuffs people into small classrooms. The learning is very limited if by any chance...

    I Just Started To

Many times I would watch the teacher in the board explaining their topics. Many times I wouldn't understand what they were saying, but comprehend later while they continue talking. Many times my eyes droop while the teacher drawled on and on about their topics and suddenly, I...

Must Be Another Way To Learn And Prepare Me

I have been in school for my entire life, about 17 years and counting, and I must say, I have rarely found any good in it. I love my speech class in high school because it helped me get over my fear of talking in front of people. I loved my journalism class because it was very...

I agree with the two latest posts here:

that school sucks the passion, imagination and fun out of everything. Why wait for androids? We've got a country full of them, going about their day mechanically.

    Something Bad Is Coming Up

School, that is. I have had a pretty good summer. It wasn't exactly eventful or fun. I didn't go to any parties, because I wasn't invited or anything. But it was great because I finally got a break from those jerk-offs that I have to soon deal with in school this September...

It's finals week this week at my school,

and then the week we get back. We're literally only tested on how much we know instead how much we know it. I think it's better to be able to do a few things well instead of be "okay" at a bunch of things. Half of my teachers even agree with this as well.
