    Londoner Born And Bred

I was born in Soho right opposite Soho Square. My early years are filled with great memories of Oxford Street Regent Street Regents Park Wardour Street etc. An early job I had on Wardour Street my boss was John Wayne - naah not the real John Wayne but that was his name. I went on...

    The Unexpected Welcome Home

There's normally sirens and helicopters where we live. It's nothing unusual. We joke about the helicopters because we know the guy that sends them out. He's normally looking for the drug dealers or to break up gang related fights. But since I've been back this afternoon, the...

I love my London....I know its dirty

and messy...with tiny impractical streets in the City, where sleek new offices stand next to buildings with hundreds of years of history. It has been burned down, rebuilt, bombed, rebuilt, and survived many terrorist attacks. It is a massive, messy sprawl, but with the most...

I love it. I keep discovering new things

and strolling around to get lost is so exciting. There is always something to smile at. People may appear to be not too friendly but just walk around and you will be surprised. The smaller shops have nice people and some passers by are also willing to help.

    A Recent Discovery ...

I know London reasonably well having lived and worked there for most of my life. But I always manage to discover something new. This week I am working in an area of London called Clerkenwell.  Like all areas of London it has its own fascinating history.  But right by the place...

    Am Always Amazed!

My first trip abroad was in 1996 to London. As a typical American or I guess anyone that has not traveled out of their home country I was filled with anticipation, expectation, and a little bit of angst. Of course none of the angst was required, Londoners are incredible people...

    London Night Awaits

Darkness descends upon the space outside, signalling, in these winter times, that work will be over soon. When it is, I will go outside, roll up in a secluded spot and walk along the edges of Tottenam Court Road, as to avoid the crowds. The clock says 16:06... now 16:07, so...

    Some Thoughts About London

London has so many faces. When flying into London I love to sit on the right hand side and look outside the window. When flying in from the West you can see the best of all in a few minutes. I was flying in so many times, so I have learned to figure out where is what. Very...
